Your comfort, well-being, and recovery are our top priority at GenPsych Select. Our experienced and credentialed clinical team prides itself on providing discrete, high-quality care in a relaxed, welcoming, and empowering environment.
Alcohol and drugs take a hard toll on the body, mind, and lives of users and their loved ones. So, too, can mental health disorders. Our Substance Related and Dual Disorder Services simultaneously address challenges derived from chemical dependence and those associated with mental health diagnoses.
Many who struggle with addictions and mental health symptoms feel powerless and trapped, with little hope of regaining control. However, our clients possess reservoirs of strength and resilience that they often have lost connection with. Reconnecting is one of the keys to sustained recovery and mental health wellness which are emphasized in our Substance Related and Dual Treatment services. We use proven, evidence-based treatment methods to break the chains of addiction and to reclaim one’s life and help them to remain substance free.
At GenPsych Select, we also specialize in the treatment of opiate addiction. We have licensed Suboxone providers on staff and offer medically assisted detoxification to adults.
Treatment approaches are founded upon effective, discrete, and research-based methods designed to empower clients struggling with substance related and mental health symptoms. GenPsych’s accomplished, licensed clinical team encourages clients to learn and employ the tools needed for sustained recovery and overall wellness. Our integrated treatment styles assist adults in gaining social support, learning new coping skills, developing healthy relationships, and discovering the freedom of living without substances.
The Substance Related and Dual Diagnosed treatment approaches are founded upon the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) “Eight Dimensions of Wellness”: Emotional, Environmental, Intellectual, Physical, Occupational, Spiritual, Financial, and Social. We also view clients holistically and with the educated lens that considers and addresses a myriad of factors leading to addiction and mental health symptoms, including peer pressure, genetics, trauma and abuse, poor social skills, and unstable family environments.
Our clinical staff, all of whom are dually licensed in substance abuse and mental health (or working towards both distinctions), employs Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Eye Movement Integration (EMI).
Elevating the likelihood for our clients’ continued health and sustained recovery is our highest priority. As such, we encourage the use of mutual support group programs throughout treatment. Clients are educated on the characteristics and locations of various support systems, such as 12 Step Model and SMART Recovery, as well as;
- How alcohol and drugs affect the brain
- Dual Diagnosis
- Relapse Prevention
- Emotion Regulation
- Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills for Recovery

In alignment with best practices for your wellness, GenPsych Select offers the option of a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation prior to the start of your therapy to determine the most appropriate course of treatment for optimal benefits. Urine screens are required to monitor treatment efficiency, medication safety and will be requested during initial evaluation and may be required subsequently as clinically indicated. In the end, should you want to end services or no longer require treatment, GenPsych Select providers will offer you psychiatric and psychotherapy referrals you need to ensure your continued care and maintain your renewed wellness.
